We are excited to announce that Metamask now supports Solana! This means that you can use Metamask to securely store and manage your Solana tokens.
How to Use Solana with Metamask
Solana is a decentralized application that can be used with Metamask. To use Solana with Metamask, first install the Metamask plugin.
Once the Metamask plugin is installed, open the Metamask app and click on the "Add New Account" button.
Next, input the following information:
Username: solana
Password: solana
Select the "Ethereum" network and click on the "Create Account" button.
After your account has been created, click on the "Token" tab and input the following information:
Token Contract Address: 0x972c1db5d7f6cda811e2fbb1dcd09fc34bac0d9e2a
Token Symbol: SNT
Next, click on the "Settings" tab and input the following information:
Gas Price: 200,000 Gwei
Deployment: Mainnet
Click on the "Save Changes" button and click on the "Close Account" button.
Now, you can use Solana with Metamask by opening the Metamask app and clicking on the "Add New Token" button.
Next, input the following information:
Name: Solana
Symbol: SNT
Decimals: 18
Click on the "Generate Token" button and wait for the token to be generated.
Getting Started with Solana & Metamask
To get started with Solana & Metamask:
1. Download the Solana & Metamask app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account by entering your email and password.
3. Install the Metamask extension for Chrome.
4. On the Solana & Metamask app, click the "Create a new account" button.
5. Enter the details of your new account, including your email and password.
6. Click the "Create an account" button on the Metamask extension to finish setting up your account.
7. Click the "Connect Your Ledger Account" button on the Solana & Metamask app to connect your Ledger account.
