There are a few things you can do to protect your Trezor Wallet.
1. Backup your Trezor Wallet
Trezor takes two types of backup: a regular backup and a recovery seed. Make sure to always keep both backups safe and accessible. You can also use a paper wallet to store your Trezor Wallet's private key offline.
2. Keep your Trezor Wallet protected from physical theft
Keep your Trezor Wallet in a safe place where only you have access to it. If you lose your Trezor Wallet, make sure to immediately backup your Trezor Wallet and recovery seed.
3. Use a PIN code to protect your Trezor Wallet
You can also use a PIN code to protect your Trezor Wallet. Whenever you want to use your Trezor Wallet, enter the PIN code into the Trezor Wallet's screen.
Backing up your Trezor
When you first set up your Trezor, you will be asked to create a backup. This is a important step, as if your Trezor is lost or stolen, you can restore your wallet and all of your coins and tokens to a new Trezor.
Recovering your Trezor
Wallet
If you have lost your Trezor wallet, there are a few things you can do to try and recover it.
First, make sure you have backed up your Trezor wallet. You can do this by exporting the private key from your Trezor and saving it in a safe location.
Second, if you have access to your Trezor but don't have the backup, you can try to reset it. To do this, plug in your Trezor and go to trezor.io/reset. Enter your PIN and click Submit. If the reset fails, you can try to factory reset it by entering your PIN and clicking Reset.
