Cardano On Metamask
Cardano is a smart contract platform that runs on a blockchain. Metamask is a browser extension that allows you to run Ethereum dApps without having to run a full Ethereum node.
How to add Cardano to your Metamask wallet
1. Navigate to the Metamask website and click on the “Add a New Wallet” button.
2. Click on the “Cardano” button and enter your Cardano wallet address.
3. Click on the “Create Account” button to complete the process.
Cardano's native token ADA now available on Metamask
ADA, the native token of Cardano, is now available on Metamask. This marks the first major integration of ADA into a leading platform for blockchain in the world. ADA is also available on other popular wallets including Exodus and Jaxx.
Metamask now supports Cardano's testnet
We are excited to announce that Metamask now supports Cardano's testnet! This means that you can securely store and manage your Cardano tokens on Metamask.
How to use Cardano's Daedalus wallet with Metamask
1. Visit the Daedalus wallet website and create a new wallet.
2. Download the Metamask app and open it.
3. On the left side of the Metamask window, click on the "Add a New Wallet" button.
4. Select Cardano from the list of wallets and click on the "Next" button.
5. On the "Add Cardano Address" page, enter your Cardano address and click on the "Next" button.
6. On the "Add Cardano Wallet Passphrase" page, enter a strong password and click on the "Next" button.
7. On the "Review Your Details" page, make sure that everything is correct and click on the "Next" button.
8. On the "Metamask Verification" page, Metamask will ask you to authorize the transfer of ADA from your Cardano wallet to Metamask. Click on the "Authorize" button.
9. Metamask will then display a summary of the transaction and click on the "Finish" button.
Using Metamask to interact with Cardano smart contracts
To use Metamask to interact with Cardano smart contracts, you first need to install Metamask on your browser. Once Metamask is installed, click the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window and select "Add account."
In the "Add account" dialog box, enter the following information:
1. Your email address
2. Your password
3. A name for your new account (this will be used to sign transactions in Metamask)
4. A password for your new account (this will be used to access your Metamask account)
5. A ETH address (this will be used to send transactions from your Metamask account)
6. A Cardano address (this will be used to receive transactions from your Metamask account)
7. Click "Create account."
Now that you have created an account, you need to add a Cardano wallet. To do this, open Metamask and click the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window and select "Add wallet." In the "Add wallet" dialog box, enter the following information:
1. Your email address
2. Your password
3. The path to your Cardano wallet file (for example, "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Cardano\cardano.ini")
4. A name for your new wallet (this will be used to sign transactions in Metamask)
5. A password for your new wallet (this will be used to access your Metamask account)
6. A ETH address (this will be used to send transactions from your Metamask account)
7. A Cardano address (this will be used to receive transactions from your Metamask account)
8. Click "Create wallet."
Now that you have added a Cardano wallet, you need to add some Cardano tokens to it. To do this, open Metamask and click the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window and select "Add token." In the "Add token" dialog box, enter the following information:
1. Your email address
2. Your password
3. The amount of Cardano tokens you want to add to your wallet (for example, 100 ADA)
4. A name for your new token (this will be used to sign transactions in Metamask)
5. A password for your new token (this will be used to access your Metamask account)
6. A ETH address (this will be used to send transactions from your Metamask account)
7. A Cardano address (this will be used to receive transactions from your Metamask account)
8. Click "Create token."
Now that you have added some Cardano tokens to your wallet, you need to add a Cardano contract to your wallet. To do this, open Metamask and click the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window and select "Add contract." In the "Add contract" dialog box, enter the following information:
1. Your email address
2. Your password
3. The path to your Cardano contract file (for example, "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Cardano\contracts\dao.sol")
4. A name for your new contract (this will be used to sign transactions in Metamask)
5. A password for your new contract (this will be used to access your Metamask account)

How to view your ADA balance on Metamask
To view your ADA balance on Metamask, first open the Metamask app and click on the “Bills” tab. On the Bills tab, under “ADA Balance,” you will see the current balance of your ADA tokens.
